Is there an easy way to stop your back stitch lines look crooked or wavey?  i have to keep frogging mine >.<

How are you doing yours?

Backstitch should always try to be one square in length, and as many as needed. This keeps the lines straight.

I was doing that, but with the stitches part way through a square i was having problems getting the same hole again,  found a way round it though instead of using the blunt needle that came with the set i just switched to a sharp one i had on my desk from repairing my house mates button on her shirt.

so now basically done ^_^ just french knots....

*happy dance* my first completed piece YAY!
